Creating a Honeymoon Scrapbook

There are all kinds of aspects of your wedding process that you are going to want to make sure that you preserve forever. Between all of the memorabilia that you save during your engagement and planning period, ceremony and reception, you are going to have lots of great photographs and items to cherish for the rest of your life. If you are planning some type of a cruise vacation for your honeymoon, you could even make a honeymoon scrapbook entirely done with a nautical theme. Along each one of the pages, you could have life preservers with rope or anchors for borders. If you are feeling as though you are not quite creative enough to achieve borders like this by drawing, there are several tools that you can get to help you.

From your local craft supply store, you can usually find a good deal of embellishments that will be just perfect for your honeymoon scrapbook pages. If you are feeling a bit creative, you could use stencils and rubber stamps with the colors of your choice. There are also a wide variety of stickers that come in different themes that would work very nicely. You may want to think about adding stickers of starfish, ocean waves and even cocktail drinks for pictures where you are relaxing on deck.

If you are going on a ski trip for your honeymoon, you should be sure that you get tons of pictures atop the slopes to add to your honeymoon scrapbook pages. Perhaps you could save a brochure from the lodge that you are staying in, or maybe you could even grab a matchbook that you can add by cropping the cover. Do not be afraid to take pictures of any side trips or shopping excursions that you take on your honeymoon. You would be amazed at just how much fun some of these pictures will be to look back on in your honeymoon scrapbook in the years to come.
