What You Can Do to Stop Spam

Anyone who uses email knows exactly what the term "spam" refers to and has pondered, "How do I stop spam?" Unwanted, unsolicited email has a way of finding all of our email boxes.

Not only is it annoying, but it can also be dangerous. Often times, spam contains viruses, illegal get-rich-quick schemes, pornography, and other undesireable garbage. In fact, in todays email environment, there is more spam than real email that is being sent. In many cases, there is so much spam that comes into your mailbox, that real email is accidentally lost while deleting the junk mail. How can you stop spam?

There are several different strategies that can be used to stop spam. It should be noted that there is not currently any effective way to stop 100% of spam. There are things that can be done to dramatically reduce the amount of spam that you get.
